Nautile Chief Pilot
‣ From 1994 explored uncharted stern of the RMS Titanic.
‣ Mentored by P.H. Nargeolet, known as “Mr. Titanic”.
‣ 2 1/2 hours to descend, 2 hours to resurface.
‣ 8 hours on the sea bed at 3,810m (12,500ft).
‣ In submersible trapped under the stern by rogue current.
‣ Used robotic arms to dislodge Nautile from the wreck.
‣ Crew had just 16 hours of breathable air remaining.
‣ Re-established radio contact, rescued by support ship.

Commercial Diver
‣ Saturation diver qualified to 500m (1,640 feet).
